Dr Padmanabhan has many years of clinical experience in the management of Diabetes and other Endocrine disorders during pregnancy and leads the Diabetes in Pregnancy service at Westmead Hospital. She has a PhD in the area of Diabetes in Pregnancy and continues to publish her research internationally.  Being a mother herself, she brings compassion as well as expert training to provide the best care for both mother and baby during this important time. She has a special interest in all endocrine disorders in pregnancy including:​

• Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes in Pregnancy

• PCOS in pregnancy

• Thyroid disorders in pregnancy

• Other Endocrine disorders such as Prolactinoma and Addison's disease in pregnancy
